TPV (Third Party Verification) integration

If part of your business process involves calling a particular phone number (or one phone number out of a small set) and making them a party to the call, you might want to install the Third Party Verification app which can be done from the Client Portal. The Client Portal can be reached at client.xencall.com and the login information should be from the first invoice you received from us. Then in the left pane you can click on App Garage and scroll down to install Third Party Verification (TPV).

  1. From the Dashboard, click on Settings in the My Account section.
  2. Click on TPV.
  3. Click on Add a new TPV hotkey.
  4. Read the tips and fill in the details.
  5. Click on Create TPV button to save.

Under Sample buttons a preview is displayed of how the TPV button will appear on the webphone.

  1. From the Dashboard, click on Settings in the My Account section.
  2. Click on TPV.
  3. Click on the name of the TPV from the list of TPV Hotkeys.
  4. Edit the settings you wish to change
  5. Click on Save Changes.

Upon completion, have your agents sign out and sign back in to see the change.

Does TPV allow me to connect a third person to my call?

Yes. TPV allows you to connect a third person to your call by clicking the TPV button in the dial pad.

Can I connect more than three people to a call using TPV?

To add more people to a call put the 3-way call on hold and open up another line, dial it, and then merge that call in on the 3-way making it a 4-way call.

Can I change the extension of a TPV?

The internal TPV extension will be automatically generated by the system. If editing this, ensure it does not overlap with another TPV extension or agent/desk extension.

Why do I get an error at the top and bottom of the TPV configuration screen when I click on Create TPV.

If you get an error at the top and bottom of the TPV configuration screen, it will detail what portion of the configuration was done incorrectly so you can make changes before attempting to create it again.

Can I restrict which agents have access to the TPV hotkeys?

Currently, TPV hotkeys can only be locked to campaigns.
